Caching in Lockport
A picture of the dam taken from the direction that the water flows to.
We decided to take a drive to Lockport which is just north east of Winnipeg to have a look at the Lockport dam which is on the Red River and to do some caching. We stopped at the River below the dam and watched the fishermen fishing for catfish, this is a big tourist fishing area. We found 4 caches and then the rain started so we decided to go and have a world famous hotdog at Skinners. They advertise world famous hotdogs. I have no photos of our adventure today! So we shall have to return to take the pictures of the dam and the town.
